Nova Education Trust, a cross-phase Multi-Academy Trust based in Nottinghamshire, is seeking a Premises Officer for Melton Vale Sixth Form College. The role supports the Site Manager and Business Support team to maintain college facilities to a high standard.

The position is permanent, 25 hours per week, all year round, with shifts either 6am–11am or 1pm–6pm. Start date is November 2026, with workplace collaboration and a positive, can-do attitude encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in general facilities maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to work with a team and follow safety procedures.
• Flexible to work shifts including early mornings or afternoons.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine maintenance and small repairs around college facilities.
• Support the Site Manager and Business Support team to uphold high standards.
• Contribute to health and safety and safeguarding compliance as required.

We are seeking a Premises Officer to work alongside the Site Manager and wider Business Support team to maintain the college facilities to the high standard our teams work to. The role would suit people with either a practical compliance background, or hands on maintenance skills such as decorating, joinery or plumbing. We outsource our larger projects and out of hours call out services are provided by a third party. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to the wider remit of the Business Support Team by being approachable, pragmatic and having a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be well supported by experienced colleagues within the department to support your growth and skill development.
