About The Role

At New River Green Children’s Centre and family hub, we offer combined care and education places for children from babies to 5 year olds and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, compassionate Premises Manager to lead in the provision of a safe, well maintained and healthy environment for all service users.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, sets high standards for themselves and takes pride in their work.

You will undertake maintenance and repairs to the premises within the scope of a competent handy person and to be responsible for maintaining constant awareness of the physical condition of the building, furniture and equipment and where appropriate repairing, reporting defects or requisitioning work for repair.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to:-

• Plan and organise workload across the site and to be able to work on their own initiative

•Working with people effectively and supervise cleaning staff and contractors

• Complete general maintenance and DIY to a high standard

• Be friendly and reliable

•Committed to maintaining the Centres premises and grounds to a high standard

You will be joining our dynamic Children’s Centre and be part of a diverse, supportive and experienced team working in an amazing environment with a wonderful natural outdoor garden situated in the heart of Islington.

The post is subject toan enhanced DBS check with children barred list, qualifications check and 3/5 years referencing.
