Job summary

Place Partnership is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to lead the estates and facilities across Ossett Academy and South Ossett Infants Academy. You will manage day-to-day operations, safety compliance, and team leadership to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

You will work with academy leaders and external partners to resolve estates issues, drive improvements, and oversee procurement, budgets, and cleaning services across both sites.

Qualifications

• Must be proactive and highly organized, able to plan in advance and keep sites operating smoothly.
• Strong people leadership with hands-on approach to monitor standards and coach teams.
• Commercially aware with ability to secure value for money and ensure safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, maintenance, and safety of academy sites.
• Oversee site access, security systems, and facilities operations across sites.
• Manage contractors, procurement, budgets, and cleaning services to maintain learning environments.
• Develop and deploy a Premises team, deploy rotas, and monitor performance for excellence in facilities service.
