Job description

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Premises Assistant (non-residential) to join our team and ensure our school maintains its excellent standards.

The role involves caring for our buildings and grounds, performing minor repairs, managing site health & safety compliance checks, uploading information to the EVERY system, and being flexible, proactive, and capable of problem-solving.

If you are passionate about premises and facilities, and possess a positive 'can do' attitude, this could be an ideal opportunity. You will provide high-quality service around the school, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and take pride in our school environment.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have good awareness of Health and Safety
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence to operate the School Minibus
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be capable of basic maintenance and DIY tasks
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Have knowledge of building maintenance (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
  • Be eager to contribute positively to the school community
