Job summary

IStructE Limited in London is seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join a busy, expanding City of London design studio.

Candidates must be Chartered with IStructE and/or ICE, with extensive UK consultancy project-running skills and the ability to balance technical and commercial demands while driving the business forward while remaining hands-on with project involvement.

Qualifications

• Chartered status with IStructE and/or ICE is required.
• Extensive structural engineering design and project-running experience in UK consultancy.
• Demonstrated technical and commercial mindset with ability to drive the business forward while staying hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and manage delivery on assignments up to £200m.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with clients.
• Contribute to business development and project acquisitions.

Job description

Premier medium-sized consultancy requires a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join the busy, expanding City of London design studio.

Candidates will need to be Chartered with IStructE and/or ICE and must have extensive structural engineering design and project-running skills in UK consultancy. They should be both technical and commercial, and happy to help drive the business forward whilst continuing to remain hands‑on with project involvement.

Current workload is a diverse mixture of both new‑build and refurbishment developments across London and the South East, with project values up to £200million.
