AOB in Westminster, MD is seeking a long-term PreK Substitute Teacher to supervise and instruct students in the teacher's absence. You will follow the curriculum, assign homework and monitor attendance, delivering consistent classroom guidance.

Responsibilities include supervising students, delivering instruction per plans, covering morning drop-off/pick-up, collaborating with staff, and maintaining professional, empathetic communication with students and parents.

Formación

• Degree in Elementary Education preferred.
• Current MSDE certification preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and supervision.
• First aid and CPR training helpful.
• Experience teaching in an elementary school setting.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the active supervision of students at all times.
• Oversee the instruction of students following the plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Follow daily routine of teacher and fill in for duties outside the classroom such as morning drop-off or pick-up as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, staff and administration.
• Interact effectively and respond to communication in a professional, empathetic and timely manner.
