Summary

An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Preconstruction Manager/Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts for high-value projects. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional with strong estimating expertise in mechanical systems.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of detailed mechanical cost estimates across varied construction projects
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and in-house teams during the preconstruction phase
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to assess time, materials, and labor
  • Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
  • Enhance internal estimating procedures and toolsets
  • Support project handover from preconstruction to operations

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of mechanical estimating experience in the construction sector
  • Demonstrated background in high-rise residential or commercial new build projects (mandatory)
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills
