About the Role

Walker & Sloan are representing a well-established interior fit-out contractor seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead front-end project strategy and coordination. This strategic role involves managing projects from client enquiry to construction start.

You will oversee bids, coordinate design, programming, and estimating efforts, acting as the link between client expectations and delivery feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Project Leadership: Oversee all preconstruction activities from initial brief to contract award; ensure understanding of client needs; translate designs into viable solutions.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, designers, and commercial teams; lead internal meetings; present plans and risk assessments.
• Commercial & Technical Oversight: Coordinate estimating and procurement; clarify programme, design constraints, and scope; maintain cost and risk documentation.
