Job summary

Pertemps Reading is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Milton site on a full-time contract. Salary £27,000–£28,000 per annum, hours 07:00–17:00, with full training provided in a clean, professional logistics environment where accuracy and safety come first.

Key duties include receiving goods, unloading deliveries, storing stock, picking and packing orders, and processing stock movements using standard warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming goods.
• Loading, unloading and storing materials safely.
• Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
• Processing stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Supporting production and customer assembly lines.
• Preparing goods for dispatch.
• Carrying out specialist activities, including decanting vessel sets using an overhead crane, cryofarm operations & magnet handling.
• Processing returnable packaging and warehouse returns.
• Delivering materials to local customer sites when required.
• Maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping, quality and health & safety.
