Job summary

G&P, a world-leading quality management services provider, is seeking a PDI Technician to join its automotive inspection team. You will perform end-of-line Pre-Delivery Inspections on finished vehicles, following checklists to identify defects and confirm readiness for handover.

This role focuses on meticulous exterior, interior, and functional testing, with structured processes, clear reporting, and a proactive approach to delivering defect-free vehicles to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in PDI, vehicle inspection, or automotive quality preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to follow processes and work independently.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete full whole-vehicle PDI checks, including exterior, interior, and functional testing.
• Carry out visual inspections for paint, bodywork, trim, and alignment issues.
• Perform basic functional tests on lights, windows, locks, mirrors, infotainment, and safety features.
• Identify, record, and escalate defects using the correct reporting process.
• Ensure vehicles meet final presentation standards before release.
• Follow structured checklists and maintain accurate documentation.
