Job summary

Owen Payne Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join the Wolverhampton manufacturing site. You will operate laser/tube cutting machinery and use overhead cranes to move materials, following strict safety protocols.

We require proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, a reliable work ethic, punctuality and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with pay negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Laser Operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience operating overhead cranes is essential.
• Experience operating tube laser machines or similar machinery is essential.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment.
• Use overhead cranes to lift, move and position materials safely.
• Operate tube laser machines or similar equipment.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring they are handled safely.
• Follow production instructions and maintain high-quality standards.
• Carry out routine machine checks and report any faults or issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
