Bennett And Game Recruitment in Aldershot is seeking a skilled Toolmaker / Grinder to join the engineering team. The role covers precision grinding and machining within a toolroom and production environment, producing components to tight tolerances and customer specifications.

You will set up manual and CNC machinery, use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts, read engineering drawings, and work both independently and as part of a wider team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as skilled manual/CNC machinist or toolmaker.
• Strong grinding experience across multiple processes.
• Able to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out precision grinding and machining in toolroom and production.
• Perform surface, cylindrical, bore/internal, and ring grinding.
• Carry out honing to achieve specs and tolerances.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machinery.
• Inspect components with precision measuring equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
