Job summary

TAIT is seeking a skilled Spray Painter to prepare and spray a variety of metal products in our UK manufacturing environment. You will apply industrial paint finishes, prep components, and ensure finishes meet exact customer requirements.

This role emphasizes safe working practices, timely completion of tasks, and maintaining high finish quality. Applicants should have hands-on experience with spray equipment and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and mechanical skills, including calculations.
• Knowledge of industrial paint techniques and preparation for painting.
• Experience using industrial paint equipment in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products.
• Prepare components by sanding, degreasing, and priming as required.
• Mix paints and primers and monitor drying times.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and document progress.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and timelines.
