Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for an on-site, permanent full-time Soldering Technician in Witney. You will join a growing LED lighting production team, delivering precise hand-soldering on surface mount components and supporting production targets.

The role requires clean, detailed work, IPC-610 aware soldering, and experience with pick-and-place machines. Training is provided, with a Monday-Thursday 8:00–17:00 schedule and Friday 8:00–16:00, plus pension and parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments (desirable)
• Fine detail hand soldering on surface mount is required
• IPC-610 soldering standard preferred
• Good eye for detail and precision
• Team player with good communication

Responsibilities

• Carry out fine detail hand soldering for surface mount components
• Support production output as part of a close-knit manufacturing team
• Use and operate a pick-and-place machine (preferred)
• Assist with assembly tasks as required
• Carry out basic electrical testing (where needed/available within the role)
• Work to production schedules and maintain quality throughout your shift
