Job summary

Your Recruiters Limited in Belfast is seeking a Saw Machine Operator (days) to cut metal to precise customer specifications using a billet/saw machine. You will set up the machine, check plans, measure parts, and ensure parts meet tolerances and safety standards.

Working hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour week. The role requires attention to quality, proper PPE, and daily maintenance of the saw and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal saw operation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operates billet/saw machine to cut material to customer requirements.
• Checks the material allocated for cut: length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, and lot number before cutting.
• Checks cut plan and any drawings to ensure sizes match sale orders before cutting.
• Cuts and verifies parts are within tolerances using tape, micrometer and caliper.
