Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Quality Inspector for a precision engineering business in Gravesend, specialising in small batch components for military, nuclear and medical sectors.

You will inspect components during the manufacturing process using verniers, micrometers, height gauges and a Mitytoyo CMM, and interpret drawings and GD&T requirements.

The role offers in-house training, discretionary bonuses, early finish on Fridays, and a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector or in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Competent with handheld measuring devices and CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Use verniers, micrometers, height gauges and a Mitytoyo CMM.
