Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Time Served Mechanical Fitter to join our assembly team. You will work on pumps for Original Equipment and aftermarket orders, building and dismantling, following work instructions and quality standards while contributing to cost reduction through efficient workmanship.

You should have lean manufacturing experience, strong communication, and be a team player ready to support continuous improvement and occasional site work for customer

Qualifications

• Time served mechanical fitter with experience in heavy manufacturing or similar environments.
• Lean manufacturing techniques experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Team player with energy and commitment for change.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new pumps for OE and aftermarket orders per work instructions.
• Dismantle and reassemble pumps for repairs within specified parameters.
• Ensure quality of work and complete required paperwork and checklists.
• Assist Operations Manager and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Prepare/update assembly documentation, programs, and tooling as needed.
• Support continuous improvement activities to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Occasionally attend customer sites to perform service work.
