Job summary

Balmoral Tanks Ltd is seeking a Picker/Packer Operator to join our team. The role is part of a two-person team responsible for accurate picking and packing of items per BOMs.

You will perform final inspections, maintain 100% accuracy, and prepare goods and paperwork for despatch to ensure on-time-in-full deliveries. The position offers a busy, structured warehouse environment and opportunities to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a despatch, warehouse, or factory environment.
• Able to read basic engineering drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Reliable, flexible, and deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders per BOMs.
• Perform final inspection of pre-packed items for accuracy.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in picking, packing, labeling per standards.
• Prepare goods and paperwork for despatch to meet OTIF targets.
• Operate forklifts, pump trucks and pallet trucks (where trained).
• Load outbound consignments when required.
• Maintain live records throughout the process.
• Carry out general warehouse duties and stock checks.
• Work to deadlines, KPIs and productivity targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment per 5S.
• Adhere to health and safety and company policies.
• Collaborate as part of the wider team and uphold values.
