Job summary

Supervac Ltd. is hiring a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for our Rugby site to prepare and paint heavy-duty tankers, jetting equipment, and components. The role requires setting up spray equipment, applying primers and finishes, and maintaining quality standards.

You will work closely with Vehicle Fitters to ensure a smooth transition to final rebuild, while strictly following COSHH and safety guidelines. Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30, 40 hours per week, with 23 days plus bank holidays leave.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Industrial Sprayer, ideally on HGVs or heavy machinery.
• Deep knowledge of paint mixing and single/two-coat application techniques.
• Ability to handle harsh chemical solvents with safety.
• Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30; 40 hours per week; 23 days + bank holidays leave.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: shotblasting, cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking.
• Paint application: set up, adjust, and operate spray equipment for primers and finishes.
• Quality assurance: inspect paintwork for runs, dry spray, or uneven coats.
• Equipment maintenance: clean and maintain spray guns, booths, filters, and lines.
• Team collaboration: work with Vehicle Fitters to ensure smooth transition to rebuild.
• Health & Safety: adhere to COSHH, health, safety and environmental guidelines.
