Job summary

Teledyne Qioptiq in St. Asaph, North Wales, invites eight Manufacturing Craft Apprentices to join areas including Procurement, Assembly, Machine Shop and Optical QST.

The Craft Apprenticeship combines external and in-house training; you will earn while you learn, completing a Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Engineering, a Level 3 NVQ, and a Higher National Certificate, while learning from experienced engineers at Qioptiq.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade C in Mathematics, Science and English Language.
• Applications from candidates with a relevant Engineering course will be considered.
• Provide details of completed modules and results.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Craft Apprenticeship Programme and complete the required modules and qualifications.
• Learn and contribute to the manufacture of precision mechanical/optical components as part of a manufacturing team.
