Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions LTD is representing a well-established engineering and manufacturing business seeking a dedicated Finishing Technician / Metal Polisher. You will polish and finish machined components to high standards, using motors, mops and polishing compounds within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Previous metal polishing/finishing experience is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out metal polishing and finishing to a high standard.
• Produce bright/mirror finishes on metal components.
• Use polishing motors, mops, compounds and finishing equipment.
• Operate orbital sanders and hand-held tools as required.
• Grind, fettling and linishing as needed to meet specs.
• Prepare components for subsequent finishing and plating processes.
• Follow work instructions and quality specs; inspect own work.
