Alignerr is seeking a Precision Medicine Data Lead to steer integration and governance of genomics and clinical data for AI training and clinical research initiatives. The role is a fully remote hourly contract, offering 10–40 hours per week and collaboration with clinicians, researchers, and engineers.

You will design robust data pipelines, validate data quality, and drive governance in regulated environments to ensure reliable, actionable insights that advance personalized medicine.

What You'll Do

• Design, oversee, and optimize data pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics platforms
• Lead analytical strategies that convert complex, multi-source datasets into actionable insights for clinical decision support and precision medicine initiatives
• Evaluate and validate the quality, accuracy, and integrity of healthcare and genomic data used in AI training workflows
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data governance and regulatory compliance
• Translate findings and data strategies clearly for both scientific and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement across integrated healthcare datasets

Who You Are

• Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
• Strong background in data integration, data governance, and translating complex data into meaningful insights for scientific or clinical audiences
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
• Detail-oriented and systematic — you hold data to a high standard and know how to communicate why it matters
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in an asynchronous, remote environment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training data workflows
• Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines, EHR systems, or clinical trial data structures
• Background in translational research, computational biology, or clinical informatics
• Experience working in regulated environments such as HIPAA-compliant or GxP settings
