Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Taunton is seeking a Precision Machining Technician to join our client's production team. You will carry out a range of machining and associated production processes to manufacture high-quality precision components.

We welcome candidates with Level 2/3 Engineering qualifications and practical machining experience, with the ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions. The role emphasizes health and safety, quality focus, and a positive, flexible approach to

Qualifications

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Engineering or a similar discipline.
Some practical engineering or machining experience.
The ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out a range of machining and associated production processes to manufacture high-quality precision components.
Mount and machine precision components.
Clean and finish completed work.
Inspect and check components to ensure they meet required standards.
Read and work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
Follow established production processes and quality procedures.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and COSHH compliance.
Support other associated production activities as required.
