Job summary

Join our Tool Room team as an Operations Engineer - Machining and Maintenance. Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, this site-based role follows a Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:30 and Friday 7:30-12:30.

You will be part of a small team shaping reliable production through precision engineering, tooling, and scheduled maintenance. You will contribute to continuous improvement and ensure production equipment and tooling meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop.
• Machining experience producing components to tight tolerances.
• Experience with manufacture, repair, and maintenance of jigs, fixtures and tooling.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IVD regulations and Good Documentation Practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations through precision engineering, machining, and maintenance.
• Design and manufacture components for production jigs, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
• Carry out precision machining and high-tolerance work to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform preventative and responsive maintenance on production equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Maintain documentation in line with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IVD regulations and Good Documentation Practices.
