Job summary

Catering is recruiting multiple permanent Machine Operators in the Normanton area. The role involves operating specified machinery to meet customer specs, monitoring output, and recording QA results. You will implement corrective actions, keep SPC records, and assist with basic maintenance.

The shift pattern rotates weekly, including DAYS and NIGHTS, with a starting salary of £28,000 to £31,225 per annum. This position is based in WF6, Normanton, Wakefield, and offers an excellent benefits

Qualifications

• Experience operating factory machinery to high quality standards.
• Ability to follow customer specifications and quality targets.
• Familiarity with SPC procedures and QA testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machinery to produce products meeting quality standards and specs.
• Monitor output and reject non-conforming items.
• Record adjustments and QA results in systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and cleaning of heads.
• Ensure waste and rejects are minimized.
• Input data accurately into the shop floor system.
