Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with label presses or production machinery is advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow job sheets and production requirements.
• Willingness to perform daily maintenance as per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow job sheets and production requirements accurately.
• Mount cutters onto magnetic cylinders and install into the press.
• Load materials, set web guides and slitting knives, and adjust cutter pressure.
• Operate the label press computer to set quantities and tensions.
• Produce blank labels and slit printed material to job specs.
• Monitor production, identify faults, and maintain quality standards.
• Box and dispatch finished reels and record timings and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.
