Job summary

MCC Label in Daventry is seeking an Inspection Operative to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect labels for defects, set up and operate slitter units, and ensure accurate documentation for every job.

You’ll hit daily KPIs, follow SOPs, maintain the rewinder, and work in a safety‑first environment with a supportive team. Some prior warehouse experience and attention to detail are essential, with bonus for print experience or Radius familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments is required.
• Strong attention to detail and colour perception.
• Solid problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Comfortable following procedures and manuals.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels for defects with precision.
• Set up and operate multiple slitter units.
• Slice rolls using scissors, tape, or splicing tables per specs.
• Run jobs through slitting and rewinding processes.
• Pack finished jobs with proper documentation (COC, packing list, labels).
• Maintain rewinder.
• Set up and monitor 100% visual inspection systems.
• Follow all SOPs and quality standards.
• Hit daily KPI’s set by Inspection Lead.
