The role combines goods-in responsibilities with mechanical inspection duties, supporting quality, safety, and compliance across projects. Ideal candidates have experience in quality control or inspection within engineering/manufacturing, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and clear communication

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in mechanical inspection or goods-in processes.
• Proficiency in using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometres, height gauges).
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Goods-in Inspector: Book in, inspect and verify incoming goods, materials, and components against specs, drawings, and documentation.
• Mechanical Inspector: Inspect mechanical components and assemblies using precision tools and review drawings to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain accurate records and support inventory and logistics to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for mechanical parts.
