Job summary

Transdev in Poole is seeking a finisher/deburrer for a busy, day-shift role in a fast-paced machine shop. You will work with aluminium, mild and stainless steel, and composites, using hand tools with great attention to detail.

The position offers 37.5 hours per week Mon-Thu 8.30am-5pm and a Friday finish at 2pm, with free parking, uniform, and a company pension. GCSE or equivalent is required along with at least 1 year of similar experience and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• 1+ year(s) of similar finishing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure finishing department maintains high throughput to meet demand.
• Identify efficient methods to deburr/finish components while upholding quality.
• Be flexible to assist across multiple finishing disciplines as needed.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
