Job summary

Castle Employment Group is recruiting an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a global engineering and manufacturing business in Kirkbymoorside. You will prepare, fabricate and weld high-quality components from detailed drawings, using TIG and FCAW techniques, across stainless steel, aluminium, carbon steel and alloys.

The role offers permanent, full-time work with 37 hours per week, flexitime, and overtime at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and fabrication environment.
• Proficiency with TIG and Flux Core MAG welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out TIG, Flux Core MAG (FCAW) and general welding on components.
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Preparing, measuring, positioning and fitting components prior to welding.
• Welding a range of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, carbon steel and specialist alloys.
• Working to approved welding procedures and recognised quality standards.
• Ensuring dimensional accuracy, weld quality and correct component fit-up.
• Carrying out grinding, fettling and finishing operations.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
