Job summary

DCS Recruitment Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Operator for the Blackbushe area. The role involves assembling products from PCB level through sub-assemblies to finished units, using engineering drawings and documentation to meet high quality standards and production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production assembly
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Experience with soldering and crimp tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic IT literacy

Responsibilities

• Assemble products from PCB level through sub-assemblies to completed finished units
• Follow engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and technical documentation accurately
• Use soldering irons, crimp tools, measuring equipment, and assembly tools safely and effectively
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards
• Identify and report any specification, design, or assembly issues to engineering or production teams
• Raise non-conformance reports and engineering change requests where required
• Support continuous production flow by working closely with engineering, quality, and stores teams
• Assist other assembly operators when needed to help meet production targets
• Maintain accurate production records and update internal systems accordingly
• Support stock checks, part enquiries, and other production-related activities
