Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. are assisting a small specialist engineering company in recruiting an Electronics Assembler in Cwmbran. You will perform precision assembly, soldering and wiring using small components and fine wires, following drawings and production instructions.

The role suits someone with strong attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach, who can work independently or in a small team. Full-time or part-time hours are available with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous soldering experience essential.
• Good wiring and assembly skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable working with small components and fine wires.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical products to drawings and instructions.
• Solder electronic components, wires, cables and connectors.
• Prepare and assemble PCBs, connectors and mechanical components.
• Carry out wiring, cable preparation and crimping where required.
• Inspect own work for quality and accuracy.
• Follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and production instructions.
• Carry out basic continuity checks and testing where required.
• Identify and report assembly defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with general production duties as required.
