Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and wiring electrical control cabinets and panels.
• Practical experience in electrical wiring and installation on machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience in machinery assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control cabinets and panels using technical drawings.
• Carry out electrical wiring and installation on specialist machinery.
• Assemble standard and bespoke machinery in a high-value, low-volume environment.
• Work from engineering documentation throughout the build process.
• Assist with mechanical, pneumatic and fluid system assembly as required.
• Support testing and commissioning of newly built equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues during builds.
• Ensure completed equipment meets specifications and quality standards.
• Complete build and quality documentation accurately.
• Work to project deadlines and production targets.
