Job summary

GE Vernova Inc. is seeking a Module Build Technician to assemble and test rotating machines and sub-assemblies in a world-class manufacturing environment. The role focuses on mechanical/electrical fitting, precise measurements, reading engineering drawings, and adherence to SOPs.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams, ensuring safety, quality and on-time production while supporting overtime and shift requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical fitting/manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, bore micrometers and DTI gauges.
• Ability to follow SOPs and defined processes precisely.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting and prepare/build machines for test.
• Fit drives, couplings, lubrication and cooling systems.
• Assemble sub-assemblies including terminal boxes and frames.
• Measure components to tight tolerances with precision tools.
• Diagnose electrical faults and support fault finding.
• Work from drawings, SOPs and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain 5S and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Support other manufacturing and assembly activities as required.
