Job summary

Deburr Operator role based in Manchester at DCS Recruitment. A permanent position with a rate of £13.79 per hour.

You'll perform precision deburring and finishing on metal components, reading engineering drawings and following 5S standards. Trade test during second interview confirms aerospace-quality deburring capabilities. Immediate start possible. Experience with aluminium and thin gauge metals is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hand-on experience deburring and finishing metal components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in thin-gauge metals.

Responsibilities

• Manually removing lugs and metal burrs from soft and hard metal components.
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Following written work instructions accurately.
• Carrying out close-tolerance, high-quality work.
• Using a fly press to de-lug metal components.
• Using files and other hand tools to achieve the required finish.
• Operating orbital sanders.
• Working predominantly with thin-gauge aluminium.
• Working safely at all times and complying with 5S standards.
