This permanent, full-time role is ideal for an operator who takes pride in producing high-quality components and enjoys working in a modern, well-equipped workshop with a committed team culture.

You will set up and operate CNC lathes, read technical drawings, and edit programs for efficient production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Turner with ability to set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience editing CNC programs and tweaking tooling/offsets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Check parts meet quality standards and maintain tight tolerances.
• Edit and tweak CNC programs to optimise production.
• Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and keep the shop floor safe.
• Work on a double-day shift, alternating between early and late starts.
