Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is helping a specialist precision engineering company recruit a skilled CNC Miller. You will set up, operate and program CNC machines, working with online or offline programming and aiming for high-precision tolerances.

The role includes training in injection mould machining to broaden your skills within the company, with opportunities to grow alongside engineering teams and enhance processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
• Skilled in setting and operating mills.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and precision work.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
• An engineering qualification would be desirable.
• Willing to learn the injection mould process.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines.
• Work with online and offline programming (experience with either will be considered).
• Machine components to high-precision tolerances for various industries.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal machining strategies.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and quality checks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
