Job summary

RBC Bearings is expanding its manufacturing operations and seeks skilled CNC Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will operate CNC machines to fabricate parts, load parts, cycle machines, detect malfunctions, run production lots, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

The role emphasizes quality, teamwork and employee development in a stable, growing company. This full-time position offers two shifts (7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm) with overtime as needed, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNC associate’s degree from Technical School required (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience running and setting up CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Effective communication skills and a working command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and document as required.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Operates two or more CNC machines efficiently, including setup and deburring without assistance.
• Perform inspection of machined products, measuring parts to meet print specifications.
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
• Perform basic troubleshooting as requiredPerform all other duties, as assigned.
