Job summary

Gardner Denver in Redditch seeks a CMM Inspector to inspect manufactured or purchased components to meet customer and company specifications. You will operate PC DMIS or QCT CMM software, assess in-line components, and work with Quality Engineers on any rejects.

The role is fully site-based with a day shift, requiring an apprentice-trained individual with 5+ years in an engineering environment and an ONC or HNC qualification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality inspection on engineering components.
• Adept at using measurement tools and interpretation of drawings/specifications.
• Good communication with QA and production teams.

Responsibilities

• CMM Programmer & Operator using PC DMIS or QCT.
• Inspect purchased components against drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers on rejects.
• Inspect in-house components/assemblies per company drawings/specifications.
• Pre-delivery inspection of finished assemblies.
• Liaise with shop supervision, design, and purchasing on quality issues.
• Maintain SAP quality management records.
