Job summary

Niftylift Ltd, based at our Shenley Wood site in Milton Keynes, seeks a Manufacturing Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on mechanical assembly of cherry pickers with some hydraulic and electrical fitting, working 40 hours weekly in a structured shift pattern.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on assembly experience, good communication skills and the ability to follow strict build specifications while embracing Lean techniques to reduce waste and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly.
• Proficient computer use including MS Office.
• Good spoken and written communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components for mobile elevated work platforms.
• Follow build stages accurately to specification.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in the production area.
• Develop and enhance skills across manufacturing processes and lines.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to meet quality, delivery and cost targets.
