Job summary

JM Selection Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Operative for a permanent, full-time position in Abertillery. The role involves hands-on work across the shop floor and clean room, supporting production and testing of precision assemblies.

You should have a manufacturing, production or engineering background, be practical and reliable, and able to follow established procedures. Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, £13.00 per hour, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production/engineering background preferred.
• Hands-on, practical and mechanically minded.
• Reliable and punctual; able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle materials for production.
• Cut and face materials to specifications.
• Assist with manufacture and assembly of products.
• Carry out testing on finished products.
• Inspect work to meet required standards.
• Maintain clean and hygienic production areas.
• Follow health & safety procedures and company rules.
• Support the wider production team as needed.
