Job summary

Proactive Global in London is seeking Assembly Operators to join the production team in Hounslow. This hands-on role focuses on accurate assembly of mechanical components within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will follow assembly instructions, use hand and power tools, perform quality checks and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting daily targets. Immediate start available with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an assembly, production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Confident using hand tools and power tools.
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Able to follow instructions and work to established procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working with adhesives and tolerating the associated smell as part of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, components and products accurately and efficiently.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow assembly instructions, drawings and established production procedures.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications and standards.
• Identify and report any quality issues or defects.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used correctly and safely.
• Support the wider production team with general manufacturing and assembly duties as required.
