Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting Precision Assembly Operatives for Glenair, a world-leading supplier to the military and civil aerospace industries. If you enjoy detailed, hands-on work, your existing skills could be a perfect fit for this role.

Tempo-to-perm opportunities with hours 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday; £13.38 per hour with time and a half after 40 hours. No aerospace experience required—training provided to help you succeed.

The Best Connection are recruiting Assembly Operatives for Glenair, a world-leading supplier to the military and civil aerospace industries.

No previous aerospace experience? No problem! If you enjoy detailed, hands-on work, your existing skills could be a perfect fit. Whether it's nail art, sewing, model-making, painting or electronics repairs, your patience, precision and dexterity could open the door to a new career.

What's on offer?

• £13.38 per hour, with time and a half after 40 hours worked.

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

• Temporary-to-permanent opportunities.

• Potential for condensed hours and an earlier Friday finish once trained.

What will you be doing?

• Assembling small, intricate aerospace components.

• Following technical drawings and instructions.

• Using specialist tools and magnification to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Working towards production targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

What's the recruitment process?

You’ll attend an initial interview at The Best Connection's Mansfield branch. Successful applicants will then attend an interview at Glenair, including a site tour, dexterity, colour vision and English reading tests.
