Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in aerospace inspection or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inspection or 5 years in a manufacturing role.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must obtain SAE DPRV certification and customer certifications for product release.
• US Person or ability to obtain Government licensing for controlled tech/products.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process and final inspection to ensure product conformance to customer specs.
• Conduct supplier self-release activities per requirements.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements.
• Interpret and follow quality control standards, blueprints and specs.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and solve quality issues.
• Document inspection results in reports and quality records.
• Package shipments per customer specs and arrange shipping.
