Job summary
Beagle Aircraft is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our Christchurch manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components, ensuring quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
Working with Production, Engineering and Quality, you will support new product introduction and drive improvements in machining efficiency and Right First Time performance. We value hands-on expertise and practical problem-solving on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Time-served CNC experience or equivalent engineering background.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and specs.
- Strong understanding of cutting tools, speeds, feeds and workholding.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture aerospace components.
- Interpret complex drawings and manufacturing specifications to ensure quality.
- Support tooling development and fixture development for new/existing parts.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality to improve processes.
- Contribute to NPI and continuous improvement activities.
