A prominent NHS Trust in London is seeking a Preceptorship Lead to support newly qualified midwives and develop educational opportunities for maternity assistants. The role emphasizes mentorship, clinical competency training, and career progression pathways. Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership in clinical education and a commitment to developing the workforce. This position is a secondment opportunity until June 2026.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting newly qualified midwives to achieve clinical competencies, ensuring evidence-based and safe practice. This involves reviewing existing training and developing tailored, role-specific programs to meet the learning needs of MAs and MSWs, including creating orientation packs for clinical areas.

The post holder will work closely with Practice Development Midwives (PDMs) and Clinical Practice Facilitators (CPFs) to deliver coordinated training, education, and recruitment activities.
