Nursery Assistant (SG18) - Monday to Friday (term time only) - £12.00 per hour

We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated experienced nursery assistants to join this OFSTED-rated Outstanding Pre-School in SG18. They pride themselves on encouraging exploration, investigation, and adventure for the children and are passionate about the children's welfare, wellbeing, and development. This role is Monday - Friday, 42 weeks per year (39 weeks of term time, plus 3 weeks of school holiday activities) from 7:15 am to 4:30 pm.

What we need from you:

  • You do not need a childcare qualification but must have at least 1 year of experience working within early years childcare

Your duties will include:

  • Taking charge of a key group of children
  • Delivering rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support children's development
  • Planning and providing effective care, teaching, and learning
  • Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of children
  • Working in partnership with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals to meet individual children's needs
  • Making accurate and effective use of assessments reflecting children’s needs, interests, and developmental stages
