Your Role

• Lead the development and delivery of world‑class engineering solutions at platform or major system level for a key aerospace and defence client
• Provide strategic architectural leadership, assessing client needs and driving digital and sustainable transformation across their value chain
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and CxOs, supporting sales, discovery, and early‑stage engagements
• Shape and win new business by developing technical proposals, influencing requirements, and executing capture strategies for £5m+ opportunities
• Support delivery teams to ensure successful execution, stepping in to resolve issues and drive programmes back on track where required

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a senior technical leader or engineering architect within aerospace and defence at platform or system level
• Strong background in digital transformation, engineering architecture, and complex multi-disciplinary solution design
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long‑term client relationships in a consultative environment
• Experience supporting business development activities including sales engagement, bid leadership, and opportunity growth
• Inspirational and collaborative leader, comfortable operating in a matrix environment with accountability for both individual and team success
