Digital Waffle, an official Anthropic partner, seeks a senior Pre-Sales AI Solutions Architect to lead the technical stream across enterprise sales for Claude deployments. You will design solutions, run demos and validate architectures end-to-end, partnering with delivery teams to ensure a successful SOW.

You’ll influence architecture decisions, work with security and procurement, and guide customers through evaluation frameworks and deployments in their stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing and delivering complex software systems, including at least 3 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer or Technical Consultant
• Proven track record supporting complex enterprise sales cycles including demos, RFPs, security reviews and technical due diligence
• Hands-on experience designing agentic AI systems: prompt engineering, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks and MCP server development
• Power user of Claude Code with fluent AI-native development environments
• Completion of Anthropic Academy modules: Introduction to Agent Skills, Building with the Claude API, Introduction to Model Context Protocol and Claude Code in Action
• CCAF certification either passed or ready to take
• Familiarity with enterprise dev toolchains, CI/CD, modern SDLC practices and cloud-native deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure
• Strong commercial acumen: connect technical solutions to business outcomes, ROI and buying process
• High-agency operator, able to run autonomously in front of customers

Responsabilités

An official Anthropic partner specialising in agentic AI delivery for enterprise is hiring a Pre-Sales AI Solutions Architect to lead the technical stream across their sales cycle.

This is a senior, highly hands-on technical pre-sales role at the sharp end of enterprise Claude deployments. You’ll be the expert in the room for both customers and Anthropic’s sales team on how engineering teams work with Claude Code, what an agentic application looks like in production and how to extract real value from it. Expect to build prototypes, run workshops, lead solution design and own technical validation end to end, through to a signed statement of work the delivery team can execute on with confidence.

Salary: £150,000 base plus OTE and equity

Location: London - 4 days per week in the office

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the technical stream on enterprise sales opportunities, from first discovery call through to signed SOW
• Produce solution designs and technical proposals that set delivery teams up to succeed
• Lead technical validation with customers across architecture, security and procurement reviews, fielding questions from technical and InfoSec teams
• Design and run compelling demos, prototypes and short proof-of-value engagements showing what Claude can do in the customer’s own environment
• Build evaluation frameworks, MCP servers, sub-agents and deployment configurations tailored to the customer’s stack
• Lead discovery into customer environments, engineering toolchains, workflows, business operations and organisational dynamics, turning insight into a clear technical plan
• Scope engagements with clear assumptions, risks, milestones and dependencies so what gets sold matches what can be delivered
• Act as the trusted technical adviser across individual contributors, engineering leadership and business stakeholders
• Ensure clean handover to delivery teams so commitments made in the sales cycle carry through to implementation
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify, shape and win complex opportunities and expand existing accounts
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members as the function grows

What you’ll need:

• Power user of Claude Code with genuine fluency in AI‑native development environments
• Completion of the following Anthropic Academy modules: Introduction to Agent Skills, Building with the Claude API, Introduction to Model Context Protocol and Claude Code in Action
• Either already passed or ready to take and pass the CCAF certification
• Familiarity with enterprise dev toolchains, CI/CD, modern SDLC practices and cloud‑native deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure
• Strong commercial acumen: able to connect technical solutions to business outcomes, ROI and the customer’s buying process
• High‑agency operator, comfortable with ambiguity and able to run autonomously in front of customers

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject
• Prior experience in financial services, healthcare or other regulated industries
• Exposure to complex multi-agent systems or production-grade LLM infrastructure
• Workshop facilitation and executive-level presentation experience

This role would suit a senior pre‑sales architect who wants to work at the forefront of applied AI, help shape how Claude goes to market across UK enterprise, and sit close to both customers and Anthropic’s Applied AI team.
