Pre-Sales Engineer - Rubrik | Remote – UK | 50k Base, 60k Package + Great Benefits

Our client, a market-leading IT solutions and services provider, seeks a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join their high-performing Vendor Alliances Team. This is a technical pre-sales role with a focus on Rubrik-based solutions, where you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to drive revenue and pipeline growth.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the technical lead on Rubrik-related opportunities
  • Design, propose, and present fully integrated data protection solutions
  • Lead technical sales calls and customer-facing engagements
  • Support sales teams with technical insight, training, and enablement
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored, enterprise-grade solutions
About You / Qualifications

This role suits an experienced technical pre-sales professional or a technical consultant ready to step into a commercial-facing position. You’ll have solid experience in backup and recovery (particularly hybrid/cloud environments) and ideally, familiarity with Rubrik or similar platforms.

  • Proven pre-sales experience within IT solutions, ideally with a reseller or consultancy
  • Strong understanding of data protection, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Ability to articulate technical benefits to both technical and senior business audiences
  • Experience in solution design and integration within enterprise IT environments
  • Confident presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
